i finally convinced my wife to let me get a bp so when my new viv is built (which just needs the doors on its all most done its gonna be a 2 tier and will share with my boa one top the other bottom) she said i can get one i cant wait but its gonna be 2 weeks cos no where around me has any yet the all gonna be 2 weeks there is one pet shop but it has to be aided with feeding not sure about that one (any stories or experiences with aiding snake to feed)

in my opinion I would stay away from as assisted feeding ball python, I used to keep royal balls and I had one that was assist feed two years later she still was.

However if you feel comfortable assist feeding go for it just be ware it could be forever.

whatever you decide best of luck and I bet you can not wait until you get your new snake lol

I'd wait until the assist fed BP feeds on it's own at least 3 times.  Royals are too picky to take the gamble.

Assisted feeding should be a last resort and only done by experienced keeper or herp vet. I would stay away from any snake that needs assisted feeding,fine one thats eating on its own
