Done it for a while, got a bit fed up with the maintenance myself... but that's just me...

Dead easy (in fact, I did it by accident).

Have a reasonable sized container or viv.  Obviously same rules apply to keeping anykind of animal in care.  make sure it's ventilated and you keep it clean and as dry as it needs to be.  Keep it with a warm spot and use paper towel as substrate so it's easily cleaned.  I put in a couple of egg boxes as hides.  feed them cat food, left over food, etc.  Let nature take it's course...

Tips:
Use brown crix not black.
Make sure you have mixed sex crix.  Females have an extra antenna thing coming out of there butt.  I'm not sure why... insects aren't my thing!
If you can keep them in a small enough container to put in the fridge, you can cool them down to clean them out a lot easier.

Worked for me...  Wink

No, not all the time.  Just when maintenance is required.  It slows them down and makes them sluggish so you can work around them easier.

Why not use Cockroaches? easy to breed, no smell andwill not nibble your beardies toes.

We have a colony of Dubia on the go at the moment, started out with 50 about 2 months ago, now have about 300 of breeding size, loads of babies, and should be harvesting enough for feeding soon.
