What do you think the difference is between an "illegitimate bite" and a "legitimate snake bite”?

A illegitimate bite would be a dry bite and a legit bite would be one where the person is envenomated,is that what you are talking about Huh

"Illegitimate bite" is received when handling (or approaching) a snake for work or play, while attempting to catch it.

 "Legitimate snake bite” is accidentally received by people who just unlucky enough to be in the area of the snake and get tagged.
