I know some people have left crickets in the cage fine. I have seen both sides. I dont have the time either. which is why i stuck with a variety and offered silkworms when I culdnt be there to monitor. or phoenix worms. now that they are grown its supers and roaches.
I have seen females housed together. I know someone that has quite a few in one enclosure as well..  mine seem just fine seperated though. all of mine are large healthy and seem happy.
I guess the supplimenting would be based on how much high calcium food you can offer.. since you are there you may have more availability to a more natural diet that other areas.

there is beginning to be a bit of confrontation between people and conflict of opinions, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, there is no way i would dispute this, but please guys can we try and respect eachothers without being offended or being offensive.
i will lock this post but leave it up as there is information on this topic about beardies which is very useful for those starting up.
