Man stable after snake attack
« on: December 21, 2006, 01:50:36 AM »

A 28-year-old man was bitten by a snake on Umhlanga Beach, near Durban, on Sunday.

National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) spokesman Craig Lambinon said medics took him to hospital in a stable condition.

A green snake had bitten him on the hand while he was on the beach.

The reptile was not identified. - Sapa

Come to Africa and have a look for yorself Grin

"Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.
It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle...when the sun comes up, you'd better be running."
