Hello Im new to reptile keeping and needed some advice on my Chinese Water Dragon.
The problem I have is his rear right leg its been find but now it look like its bent round mot of the time you can see what its like on this photo. He is on the rightHe has a healthy diet, eats regular and I suppiment his diet with Nutrobal the Calcium and multivitamin supplement. Any suggestions at all. Go to www.herpvetconnection.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page, there you will pick your state or province and it will tell you all the herp vets in that state/province... you may also want to switch to Rep-Cal for your supplements, ive never used Nutrobal before but almost every one i have met recommends Rep-Cal, i personaly use Rep-Cal becuase it is the easiestto find in my area i dont no where you live so it could be a challenge finding it.

Good luck,
Spencer

Yeah, just like Nap said, I reckon Rep-Cal is the best Calcium around at the moment. Also what is this species UV requirement? Is he getting enough as this can also contribute to MBO.

On nice days you can take them outside but only if you have a screen cage strong enough to hold them and to make sure that a noisy cat get in  Sad I requmend that you take that try and let it absorb as much natural UV as it can ( unfiltered sunlight ) Is there any chance your light has a plastic cover on the bottom? if there is one take it off as the plastic blocks UVB which is required for the CWD as with many other reptiles.

Keep us updated,
Spencer
