I don't think a "Australian", a "UK" and a "US" section would be a great idea.  You're separating out people that can talk on forums in their own country.  Isn't the point of an international forum that we can talk to people all across the world.  Let's not segregate people.

If you want to have locale sections, might I suggest that there are sections to talk about herps from those locales?

You could have a section dedicated to discussing native Australian Herps, South American Herps, North American Herps, African and middle eastern herps, Asian Herps and European Herps.

Wouldn't that make more sense?  This way it can be more focused on herpetology rather than herpteculture.
