can you put a ball python in with a common boa
as i have a boa thinkin about gettin a ball but havent got the room just wondered if they would live together i hav a 6' viv and the boa is just under 4'

Mixing species is never a safe or good idea Wink. Plus snakes are solitary animals, so even putting more then one of the same species is dangerous and not a good idea.

Mixing species is not a good idea, as one species could be less vulnerable to a sicknis and the the other could be very vulnerable to it and the one that is less has it and transfers the the snake living with it and then it gets very sick...

I wouldn't do it myself spongey but I know a few people who do keep multiple animals caged together. Your call in the end but it is a risky thing to do.

I keep a large communal enclosure with Boas and other species and have never had a problem.
Some species of snake are known for cannibalism but not all.

Even snakes that are not cannablistic have eaten their cage mates. Their are several pics of corns eating other corns that they were housed with, corns are not cannablistic either. Their have bee cases were people have dont it succesfully but its very risky and defently not worth the risk IMO.
