New Pics of Irwin
« on: November 21, 2006, 02:09:12 AM »

Irwin got her new enclosure and is a very happy Dragon. I do have to get her a new light though we will either be getting a MVB or a 10.0.

Very cute dragon  Wink if i were you i would get a MVB there much better, they give off more UV which is always better, well some brands due if you get a MVB try to get the Zoo-med brand or the T-rex brand but if you can i would highly recommened the Mega-Ray, it gives off the most the UV of all three and also how big is that tank?

I have heard several ppl saying that there are risks associated with using MVB's.  Such as, if the outer layer of glass on the bottom of the bulb breaks, too much UV is produced by the bulb, without burning it out... also, i heard that MVB's were developed for extremely large enclosures, like at zoos, or averies.
Has anyone else heard this?

I have never heard any of that about a MVB. can you put a link to where you found this. most people I know say they are a great thing. and never have problems.
By the way Irwins looking great!!
