For all my snakes, I use newspaper
for my leos I use either paper towels or newspaper
coco fiber for my AFT
repti bark for my skunk geckos

For my scorpions, either sand or peat moss(depending on species)

i would have to agree i dont like using sand, my snakes are on aspen, apart from my big boids whose vivs are tiled(much easier cleaned when theres that much crap to deal with!) slate for the geckos, tiles for the beardy, and bosc, my little plated  lizard is on paper at the minute as he got an injury to his tail, my baby hoggie is on paper towels

my personal favourite is tile its cheap can be washed and files nails and it also lasts a life time unless you break it   Roll Eyes . i don't like using any "loose" substrate for any animal unless recommend

For beardies? Laminate and Marble are my top choices.
My veiled chameleon currently doesn't have one (officially)  But he'll be on laminate once him new house is completed
