For those of you who may not know the story of my rex a quick recap: Rex came to me in poor health, with a broken toe and tail( both becoming infected), mounds of unshed skin and nothing but skin and bones...But as of yesterday I think its safe to say rex is now in perfect health!!
Its taken me a while and lots of hard work but were there!! When I was looking through Rex"s *notebook* and updating and making changes I finally felt comfortable with the results!! His toe and tail have both healed nicely thanks to lots of love and a little antibiotic, all of his unshed skin has come off nicely with no problems or marks and hes a brilliant green!! he is eating like a pig
I can no longer see any of his ribs and he has enough energy to run like hell when he sees me comming with the syringe!he also no longer stays strictly to the bottom of him enclosure he explores! lol he has also grown in length! I'm so happy with how well hes been doing I just had to share! now thats hes totally healthy the taming begins!! lol*notesbook* is just that..a little notebook but very important its filled with all of Rex's important information like age, weight, length, medical problems and treatments, diet, and even behaviour changes, I keep all of this up to date and check it regularly
I would reccomend this for everyone to do its a wonderful aid for when something goes wrong and helps your vet out a lot with diagnosis and preventions. Also if you ever have to switch vets they will have additional backround information on the animal!
